I've certainly never seen another set, well apart my own others. I can only deduce from having seen no others over the years, that this offer was something that was specific to my local woolies?

This beautiful combo came from my local, circa November 1984, I got lots of taped together combo items for Xmas that year. In this case here, it's reason for being was the cap-2 was reduced & the moc was stuck on as a freebie sweetener, these were all done in store obviously. There were figures taped to jigsaws, figures taped to books, figures taped to each other, and figs to various sets and vehicles. Deffo one for the woolworths SW collectors.

In a world of collecting vtg sw and everyone having the same stuff, these have always been a breath of fresh air in my displays. As you can see, it's a thing of beauty... This was in my attic until the mid 90s, when it was dug out when I started collecting again, since then it has been displayed and protected within one glass case or another, and in recent years, the last 20 or so, it has been kept away from any kind of direct light and heat etc to keep it as nice as possible. As is obvious to see, there's age and shelf related wear to both card and box etc, the card is still securely stuck to box, Both the box & the card still have very nice colour. My last set went quickly, and rightly so, no doubt this will be the same.

WORTHY OF ANY STAR WARS COLLECTION. D on't worry - it wont be rammed in a jiffy bag or the like for mr postie to flatten & batter. This will be protected within a box. All the best, thanks for looking, & HAPPY EBAYIN.
