Rare Luxury Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong Art Deco Chopsticks New & Boxed

Beautiful and very stylish each chopstick is crafted in a hard composite deep black not glossy I believe they are lacquered in the style of the ancient lacquering technique. The tips of the Chopsticks are Silver metal with an Art Deco style engraved design of 3cm, With a miniature pyramid to the silver tip in keeping with the art deco style the sheen on the metal is like a mirror as these pieces although over 30 years old have been kept in a box and unused. The actual length of the chopsticks are 26cm. They sit on a black velvet cushioned bed with black elasticated cord to hold them in place inside the box. The box itself has a rimed edge so the lid sits just perfectly and won't get stuck on, this also makes it easy to open and close.

The Hotel signature logo of a golden fan is embossed in gilt to the upper part of the lid along with the name and Location 3.5cm logo. There is a small indent an scuff to the lower part of the lid which is clearly shown in the very last Photograph also a light scuff to base of box again photographed. The indent is 0.4mmso very small the box measurements are 28cm length x 6.3cm width 3cm depth. A very nice gift for a couple, an asian food lover, an Art Deco fan or just a treat for yourself these are a very very nice set of chopsticks with a link to one of the most opulent Hotels in the world, They simply ooze sophistication and class and are very very rare.
