Some colours may also be discontinued - another desirable rarity factor. The quality of the pans themselves exceed modern quality as they were made to the highest standard in the old UK factory.

There are small markings on the enamel where the water container lid fits and also inside the water lid where the brass bottle top touches the inside when the lid is fitted for storage. There is also some small rubbing in places associated with opening and closing. These are not very noticeable, nor do they detract from the overall beauty and newness. While wear is to be expected in an antique object such as this, it is absolutely minimal.
