SUPER RARE New (box opened) LEGO Space 6971 Inter-Galactic Command Base 1984

  
I brought this set many years ago. I originally brought it along with some other new & sealed smaller Classic Space sets believing they were all sealed sets. It was some years after that I realised when I was looking at it that one seal had been cut on this set.

The inner box and contents have been careful removed twice since I've been the owner (about 15 years) - first when I realised the seal was cut and secondly now to review and check contents again and photograph for this listing. All parts inside are new, the lego pieces sealed in their various bags, the instructions untouched and the two moon baseplates also unused.

Basically it is all brand new inside. All parts look great, the outer box is in lovely condition, there's some minor edge wear underneath but not much. While I've had it the set has been packaged in bubblewrap and stored away out of sunlight along with the other Lego Classic sets. I've taken the max number of photos and tried to show how it is brand new with everything in place. The photos hopefully show the end opening and inner tray being taken out, this has a plastic cover and that tray can be lifted out which then leaves the moon baseplates and instructions at the bottom of the cardboard box.

I've tried to show as much as possible with the photos, angles, contents etc and tried to explain as much as I can so you understand exactly what it is you would be receiving.
