This is one of the rarest Youtooz vinyl figures ever released to the general public. The Sad Pepe figure was released in September 2019 as part of the Meme Collection by Youtooz. However, this figure was dropped without the prior permission of the creator of Pepe the Frog, Matt Furie. After the figure had been on sale for a couple of days, a cease and desist takedown prompted Youtooz to stop all production and sales of Sad Pepe. As a result, only 40 2FT Pepes were released, and an unknown number of regular sized Sad Pepes are in the wild. Due to their nature, Youtooz collectibles do not come back to market once they have completed their limited-time run. However, in Sad Pepe's case, he was taken down just a few days into his release.

Paired with its early date of September 2019, this makes Sad Pepe one of the most sought-after Youtooz figures on the market. This figure is completely brand new and unopened.
